"After having a total hip replacement, I needed to find a PT location preferably close to home. I had received wonderful care from the Dunkirk location for my shoulder so I decided to go there for my hip.
As before, I received fabulous care with the most educated staff. They all are so pleasant and caring individuals. In 4 short weeks I was back to normal. I have continued some of my exercises outside the facility which has also allowed me to even drive my lawn tractor to roll my lawn. I now can weed my gardens and return to some of my gym classes.

"Great atmosphere. Everyone is very positive and polite. Would highly recommend this place for any therapy needed. My posterior encapsulation has greatly improved and the pain is gone. That is coming from a Cota and that says a lot. Kali was excellent "

"I had Kandice today and she was so gentle on my tense spots . My left shoulder.and neck has be tight and congested and she hit all the spots today . With hot pack on shoulders and neck stretching. Then when I turned over belly down on back down spine she knew all pressure points what a relief I felt today hands down best pt session ever !!!!!!"

"After receiving surgery for my ankle, I needed physical therapy. I went to the Dunkirk location and received such great care and compassion from the staff and physical therapists. The ladies at the front desk were very professional and made me feel like I was at a friend's home and not a business. The physical therapist, Kandance, was an absolute pleasure to work with and many times had me laughing making me forget about the pain. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. They are great group of people who care about the patient and treats the person with respect, compassion and takes the time to know the person. "

"Highly recommend using Chautauqua PT in Jamestown. The Physical Therapist works with you 1 on 1 and they know how to give you exercises that will gradually increase your mobility and strength. The entire office staff is friendly and helpful and made my visits very pleasant. I went from limited mobility in my shoulder to complete range of motion. My therapist, Duncan Reed, gave me appropriate exercises, stretched my arm and shoulder, and encouraged and supported me throughout the process. I cannot thank him enough! "

"I had a car accident that left me with some fractures of my pelvis and my neck. I was using a walker and a brace for my neck. I chose the Dunkirk office for my therapy and am pleased I did, I had 10 weeks of therapy with Kandice Butcher who took me through those weeks , so I am feeling good and don't need a walker or neck brace now. Kandice is excellent at her job while being caring and interested in her patients. I would recommend the Dunkirk office to anyone needing therapy."

"After having surgery in April and being in a cast until July I needed a lot of physical therapy. From the original call I was very pleased with the care and attention to detail. The ladies in the front office- Faith, Abby and Ariel- are so pleasant and absolutely a pleasure. They greet each patient with a smile and makes a person feel so good about themselves even if the patient is in pain. The physical therapist, Kandace is very professional, personable and such a pleasure to work with and be around. All of the staff is such a pleasure and makes the patient feel good about themselves and makes the pain that much less. They are a top notch place to be sent to and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed physical therapy. "

"I started with Jake and Carolee in early July in serious pain and unable to walk distances due to sciatica. By August 15 I was nearly pain free and walking 2-3 miles per day with ease. These people are serious professionals, efficient with our time together, always cheerful and encouraging. I have to continue PT in another state and just hope the physical therapist there is as good and effective as Jake and Carolee. Highly highly recommended!"

"After having bilateral carpal tunnel surgery I went to Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy for rehabbing both wrists. With their program of stretching and massaging my scars have diminished, strength is returning, flexibility is increasing and I have very little pain now. Staff is very friendly and seriously caring of every person who comes through their doors looking to improve their quality of life."

"I want to thank Dr . B Lucas , And dr m turner for there excellent treatment skills while working with me to ease a lil discomfort, and work with me and give me the knowledge to work on my daily stretching exercises to help me function on a daily basis with out having to continue a pro longed therapy sessions. "Before I started going to physical therapy for my arms/shoulders, I couldn't do a lot for myself; I couldn't work or even drive a car. But now I am able to go to work, drive a car, do household chores, go grocery shopping, etc.
I found the therapists & staff to be encouraging and helpful. I now feel more confident & hopeful for the future.

"Everyone at Chautauqua P&OT are professional and courteous from the receptionist and staff to the Physical Therapists. The entire facility is kept clean and sanitized as well as the equipment i used for my therapy. It wasn't even a minute after using any particular piece of equipment that it was completely wiped down and sanitized by the staff.
The best part is I'm feeling so much better after completing my therapy! This is not the first time i've been treated at Chautauqua Physical & Occupational Therapy and it will not be the last!"

"I feel and landed completely on my right elbow. This resulted in a complete rotator cuff tear. After surgery I meet with Dr. William Lucas and started my P.T.. After a couple of months I was back to almost 100% . I started using my arm and shoulder more than I should and this resulted in tearing the rotator cuff a second time. This time I had a complete reverse shoulder replacement.
I meet again with Dr. Lucas and he introduced me to DR. Jon Scroxton who created a plain to get me back to 100% use of my shoulder. After my P.T. was completed, I am very pleased to say that I am back to over 90% use of my shoulder and still improving each day.
For anyone who has to have Physical Therapy, I would highly recommend them. "

"I had knee replacement in March. After a month of in home therapy, I came to Chaut. Physical Therapy. From the receptionists to all of the therapists I was treated like I was a friend. They always have a smile and a kind word. They were very supportive and went at my pace as I gained strength. Cheyenne and Jon were my regular therapists although I had a couple others occasionally. They made me feel I was making great progress. When I have my other knee done I will definitely come back here for my therapy. I noticed smiles on all patients and therapists faces. They make everyone feel welcome. I would definitely give them a 10!"

"I had knee replacement surgery; I am not a fan of PT more or less because I don't exercise much and well, it's not my gig. In any case I was VERY fortunate to have Drew as my PT. He knows his stuff and trust me; he was painfully good! Yes, it hurt but Drew seemed to grasp the difference between pain and excruciating pain. He seemed to know how far he could go and be effective. Good personality and just a good PTA to work with. Ask for him if you are able. He knows what he's doing and has a sense of humor as well. Never met him before and no we aren't related. I just feel that since I quit PT on my own, I should come here and let the company and others know what an asset he is. Thanks Drew for your professionalism and knowledge. It was great working with you."

"I was sent for OT/PT and my Dr recommended Chautauqua Physical & Occupational Therapy. I am 70+ years old and was really doubtful that anything would help my shoulder (I had an injury)! I met with Dr Tara Darling and after 2 sessions my progress to my shoulder was AMAZING!!! I also had a previous condition in my shoulder that I explained to Tara. She said, this therapy "should" help that also. Well, she was right! BOTH conditions are improving at a miraculous rate! To say I'm pleased would be a huge understatement! Tara explained what I had done, what she was going to do and what I needed to do in plain language that I understood. All in all, I do believe she was an answer to my prayers and I continue to improve every day. I WILL request Dr Tara Darling when I need therapy next time (and you should too!). The whole staff is excellent also!!! [5 stars +]"

I had knee pain from an injury at work. After several sessions of physical therapy I was able to regain the strength and mobility in the injured knee.

"My treatment at Chautauqua Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy-Dunkirk was just what was needed to make me mobile again. After having extreme difficulty walking, my doctor recommended Chau PT and OT. All sessions were closely monitored by the doctor and staff on site. "Many thanks to the Mayville team (Jake and Karolee) I have used their services for several years. My last visits were to treat a herniated disk and sciatic down both legs. "After knee replacement surgery and at home physical therapy, I was discharged and needed to find an outpatient physical therapy facility. I took my wife with me as she has had several experiences with outpatient facilities. When we stopped to check out Chautauqua Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy she was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, staff, machines, and layout. I signed up based on her recommendation. I especially liked the individual attention,(They didn’t leave you to work with others) variety of exercises, knowledgeable staff, positive support, as well as keeping the mood light.The staff is engaging as well and deal with physical challenges professionally with competence. My knee rehabbed successfully and I am so pleased with the process and result."

"You can believe all the excellent reviews that are on here. Dr. Alyssa Settelmaier was kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable as well as just being an awesome person. I saw her 17 out of my 20 visits. The other 3 I had Mackenzie Carlstrom who was just as good and just as fun. She went out of her way to give me excellent treatment and tips. I actually miss going there and they definitely know what they are doing and will take care of you."

"CPT has been amazingly helpful in keeping me moving mostly pain-free. From the assistance for chronic low back pain and limited neck mobility to the more recent shoulder restriction and pain, CPT staff has provided me with exercises and training to alleviate the skeletal issues associated with aging. I tried chiropractic for several years with little relief. I recommend CPT to all my friends and acquaintances. I am proof this works. "
